The Lady Trojans basketball team has recently been on a hot streak, led by freshman phenom Ja’Ziyah Foster, who is showing skill well beyond her years. Already averaging nearly 17 points per game for the season, Foster has elevated her stats to another level in the past three games, averaging 25 points, six rebounds, and nearly five steals per game. At a young age, Foster is establishing herself as a cornerstone player, not only this season but for the years to come.
Coach Adam Ballard complimented the 6’1″ ninth-grader and the rest of his squad, saying, “She is getting better daily, which is expected as a freshman. The team as a whole is also showing improvement. They are young, and they’re constantly learning what it takes to compete at a higher level.”
