In 1967, Truett Cathy opened the first Chick-fil-A in Atlanta’s Greenbriar Mall. Since then, the business has grown to over 3,000 locations nationwide. This Georgia-based corporation continues to grow!
There’s no doubt that Chick-fil-A is one of the most trusted fast-food chains in America. Known for good food, clean restaurants, and respectful and capable employees, it has earned a loyal following.

After months of searching for a location for Chick-fil-A, a spot has finally been decided.
It’s just not going to be in Barnesville. We do not know where the new Chick-fil-A is being built, but we know it is not in Lamar County.
On the bright side, there are plenty of restaurants in town that sell fried chicken, and some of them are even open on Sundays.
Happy April Fools’ Day from the Barnesville Buzz!
