It’s postseason time for GHSA Volleyball, and the Lamar County varsity volleyball team is looking to make a playoff run.

Lamar County enters the Class A state tournament as the Number 8 seed after finishing 22-7 overall and second in their Area standings. The Lady Trojans host the Number 25 seed Bryan County Redskins (19-17) today in the first round. The first set will begin at 3:00 PM at the Lamar County High School Gymnasium.

The winner advances to face the winner of Thomasville vs. Fannin County in the Sweet 16 round.

With home-court advantage, Lamar County will look to keep its playoff hopes to keep its postseason hopes alive.
