The Barnesville Lamar County Historical Society is hosting a unique event that’s sure to be one for the ages. In the spirit of the iconic “American Bandstand” TV show, the event will feature classic hits from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. The event is set to begin at 6:30 P.M. and will end at 9:30 P.M.
This lively night is for a noble cause. Proceeds from the event will go to the Barnesville-Lamar County Historical Society, an organization that strives to preserve Barnesville’s rich history. Attendees can contribute to the group’s ongoing work.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the Old Jail Museum, Graveyard Alley Archives, Antiques on Atlanta, and the Barnesville-Lamar County Chamber of Commerce. For more information, send an email to graveyardalleyarchives@gmail.com or call (678) 588-9193 or (770) 584-0777.
