Dr. NaToya Fletcher to be New Principal at LCMS

Lamar County Schools has announced that longtime system employee, Dr. NaToya Fletcher, has been named the new Principal at Lamar County Middle School.

Dr. Fletcher began teaching at Lamar County Elementary School in 2008. She has most recently served as Assistant Principal at Lamar County High School, focusing especially on curriculum and instruction, professional development, and student support services on the high school campus. She has served in other leadership roles in her career, including graduation coach, choral director, marching band assistant, auxiliary coach, and basketball cheerleading coach. Additionally, she has experience as an adjunct professor.

Dr. Fletcher earned her Doctor of Educational Leadership degree from Liberty University. In her time as an educator, she has been an active participant in several professional organizations, including the Georgia Music Educators Association, the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders, the Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals, and the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders Aspiring Principals Academy.

Dr. Fletcher says she is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students at Lamar County Middle School.
