Lamar County voters had already cast or returned 2,120 ballots before Election Day in the May 19, 2026 General Primary Election, according to the Lamar County Board of Elections’ recap.
The report shows 2,043 advance in-person votes were cast during the early voting period, while 77 absentee-by-mail ballots had been received. A total of 90 absentee ballots were mailed, with no absentee ballots listed as rejected. No provisional ballots were reported.
Election Day for the General Primary Election is today, Tuesday, May 19. Polls open at 7:00 am and close at 7:00 pm.
Voters who did not cast a ballot early must vote at their assigned Election Day precinct.
