Lamar Arts will present its upcoming exhibition, “Fashion in Art,” at the Train Depot Gallery this spring, showcasing innovative wearable designs and creative talent from across the region.
The exhibition will feature fashion designs by Monique Nicole Pitts Taylor of Macon and other designs by local young artists. The show highlights contemporary styles for young adults.

The opening reception will be held Friday, March 6, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Historic Train Depot Gallery, located at 101 Plaza Way in downtown Barnesville. The exhibition will remain on display through April 26, 2026.
Gallery Hours
- Fridays: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Sundays: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Admission is free and open to the public. Appetizers and refreshments will be served during the opening reception.
Community members are encouraged to bring family and friends to experience this exciting celebration of fashion and art.
Grant Turner is the editor of the Barnesville Buzz and an educator, coach, and writer based in Barnesville, Georgia. He shares stories that bridge community, faith, and personal growth. In addition to teaching and coaching, Grant is Director of Musical Worship and a Sunday School teacher at New Hope Baptist Church in Zebulon, Georgia. He lives in Barnesville with his wife, Haley.
