The Lamar County 14U All-Stars had an impressive performance this weekend, finishing as runner-up in the CGYSA Tournament after earning a 3–1 record.
Representing Lamar County, the All-Stars earned victories over Upson County, Manchester, and Pike County to advance through the tournament bracket. Lamar County ultimately fell to Monroe County in a hard-fought championship game, securing a second-place finish.
Brayden Wilson led the way offensively, emerging as Lamar County’s top scorer over the course of the tournament, providing steady production from Thursday through Saturday.
The Lamar County squad showcased balance and depth on the entire roster. Team members include Brenten Bloodser, Cayden Davis, Brayden Wilson, Kolton Andrews, BJ Buckner, Marcus Fambro, JJ Henry, and Ivan Williams.
The team is coached by Rhonda Wilson and Brady Wilson.
With the CGYSA Tournament complete, the Lamar County All-Stars will compete in the GRPA Tournament in Meriwether County the weekend of February 28.
