October ended with two celebrations at Lamar County Elementary School: Red Ribbon Week and Student of the Month. Schoolwide, students participated in daily dress up challenges based on the national theme of “Life is a Movie: Film Drug Free.” On October 31, many of the school’s top students posed for their Student of the Month picture wearing their costumes for “Don’t Be Tricked, Drugs are No Treat!” day. Each of the students pictured below were chosen because they demonstrate what it means to be a true Lamar County Trojan.
