For those in Lamar County looking for a meaningful and reflective Easter-season experience, the annual Stations of the Cross is returning to Barnesville First United Methodist Church on March 31.

The exhibit, set inside the sanctuary at Barnesville First United Methodist Church, invites visitors to walk through the final moments of Christ’s journey to the cross. Through a combination of visual art and interactive elements, attendees will have the opportunity to contemplate Jesus’ sacrifice personally.

As Easter activities fill the calendar, the Stations of the Cross offers a chance for the Barnesville community to slow down and reflect on the Christ’s passion.

The exhibit will debut March 31 through April 3 (Good Friday) from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., and on April 4 from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

The exhibit is open to the public, and all community members are invited to attend.

Barnesville First United Methodist Church is located at 375 Thomaston Street in Barnesville.
