Farmers Market at Ritz Park on Saturday
A farmers market at Ritz Park in downtown Barnesville will be offering a variety of homemade and homegrown goods on Saturday, October 5, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This event is organized by the Barnesville Downtown Development Authority, and it provides the community an opportunity to support local vendors and farmers.
According to Heather Stanley of the Barnesville DDA, having the Farmers Market during the weekend will be ideal for maximizing the number of vendors who can participate, and this will add value to the overall experience. “We have a lot of vendors that will be there (this Saturday), but the number of vendors that said they wanted to participate in the future was amazing!” She thinks this event will become quite the destination for local farmers and artisans in the future.
