Looking for a local opportunity to listen to live music this August?
Gordon State College invites the community to its campus for the Gordon Grooves Summer Concert Series, presented by the Gordon State College Foundation. The free, family-friendly events will take place at the Gordon Outdoor Amphitheater at 419 College Drive.
The first concert is set for Friday, August 1, featuring Lady Creech & The Main Street Band. The second show will follow on Thursday, August 22, with a performance by The Grapevine Band. Both concerts will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Guests can look forward to food trucks, multigenerational fun, and the option to purchase VIP tables, which include seating for eight.
Grant Turner is the editor of the Barnesville Buzz and an educator, coach, and writer based in Barnesville, Georgia. He shares stories that bridge community, faith, and personal growth. In addition to teaching and coaching, Grant is Director of Musical Worship and a Sunday School teacher at New Hope Baptist Church in Zebulon, Georgia. He lives in Barnesville with his wife, Haley.
