A man was injured in a shooting Tuesday night on Greenwood Street, according to the Barnesville Police Department.
Police responded to the area around 10:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23, after receiving reports of shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say that there is no greater threat to the public.
The victim was transported for medical treatment. His condition has not been released.
The Barnesville Police Department is continuing to investigate the situation.
