Literature and Visual Arts students at Lamar County High School teamed up this fall to host a collaborative showcase celebrating student creativity and expression. Families, teachers, and community members were invited to walk through displays of literature projects and artwork representing weeks of hard work.
Select students were recognized for their projects and efforts.

The art portion featured hundreds of pieces by talented students. Judges selected winners in various categories as well as several specialty awards.

Attendees commented that it was a great collaborative effort to bring the school and community together to celebrate Trojan creativity.
Grant Turner is the editor of the Barnesville Buzz and an educator, coach, and writer based in Barnesville, Georgia. He shares stories that bridge community, faith, and personal growth. In addition to teaching and coaching, Grant is Director of Musical Worship and a Sunday School teacher at New Hope Baptist Church in Zebulon, Georgia. He lives in Barnesville with his wife, Haley.
