Patti Hitson
Patti Hitson and a team from Christ Chapel Community Church in Zebulon recently returned from a mission trip, sending 30 students and adults to Honduras for a week of gospel ministry. The experience was described as incredibly humbling, with many lives being touched and transformed.
Keith Martin
Keith Martin and his daughters are spending the summer hard at work. Burnett Painting and Pressure Washing is a family business. “We are spending our summer pressure washing and painting!” Keith proudly shares. The Martin family has been bustling with Keith and his daughters taking on numerous projects, ensuring homes look their best.
Carrianna Simmons
With FBC Barnesville’s Thrive young adult ministry, 40 participants gathered by the pool on Thursday to dive deep into the wisdom of Proverbs.
On Sunday night, a smaller group from First Baptist Church visited Passion City Church in Atlanta to attend the 5:00 gathering. They heard Matt Chandler deliver a refreshing sermon on Hebrews 12:1-2. Kristian Stanfill led a beautiful, extended session of worship that continued even after the gathering was intended to end, making the night truly special.
Sonya Turner
Sonya Turner and her family enjoyed a vacation at Alligator Point, Florida. This secluded slice of paradise included a rare scene in the Panhandle—a sunrise over the water. Activities included hunting seashells, playing trivia games, unlucky fishing attempts, and delicious meals.
Elliott Ellington
Elliott Ellington and her husband, Dan, recently enjoyed a delightful visit to Jekyll Island. One of the highlights of their trip was a dolphin cruise, where they had the pleasure of following an entire pod of dolphins around the marshes. Their first night on the island brought a storm, which resulted in a stunning rainbow over the beach afterward. They also spent time exploring the historic district and enjoyed coffee at the picturesque Jekyll Island Club Hotel.
Mae Chan
Lenyx and Leeland have been learning the ropes of entrepreneurship, setting up their lemonade stand next to the Rolling Thai trailer. This is not the typical child’s lemonade stand. These two have been offering flavored options in addition to the classic refreshment, including strawberry, peach, and mango.
