Graquetta Harris
TWO TICKETS TO PARADISE! Kelsey and Graquetta Harris spent two nights in Miami where they went sightseeing and visited the Versace Mansion. Afterwards, they boarded one of Carnival’s newest cruise ships in their fleet, Carnival Celebration. Their 7-day cruise, which began on Sunday, June 30th, included stops at Nassau, Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic, and Grand Turk, along with three days at sea.
Skip Seda
Skip Seda went hunting for dinosaur bones in Newcastle, Wyoming. While searching, Skip discovered various remains from a triceratops, including a vertebrae and a rib. Many boys outgrow their dinosaur phase as they age, but Skip still digs them.
Mandy Stapp
How are you escaping the heat of this summer? Danny, Mandy, and Waylon Stapp have been enjoying their brand new pool at their home in Redbone. Not only is it therapeutic for the mind, but it is good for cooling off!
Jacob Smith
In June, the Antioch Baptist Church youth group attended Fuge Camps in South Carolina. Youth Pastor, Jacob Smith reported that the camp’s lively atmosphere quickly engaged the middle and high schoolers. The dedicated staff effectively connected with the students, leading to significant spiritual growth, including one student being converted to following Jesus Christ. The week was filled with games, worship, and impactful sermons, all glorifying the Lord. The group plans to return next year and is now focusing on continuing their spiritual journey, preparing for a week of missions in July. Prayers are requested for God’s continued work in their lives.
Brandi Swatts
Brandi Swatts and her husband, Josh got out of the house and went on a date. The couple had dinner at Bank Street Cafe in Griffin and stopped by Blacksmoke Coffee in Orchard Hill on the way home.
Brandi also joined her mother and sister for the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta this past Thursday. They were three of 50,000 runners. It marked her mom’s and sister’s 10th race and her 7th, making them seasoned professionals in the annual event.
