Ann Jones

Ann, Tim, and Walker Jones hit the road this summer, visiting several capital cities and Major League ballparks. They attended games for the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds, while also stopping at the capitols and governor’s mansions of Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky. Along their journey, they explored three national parks, two national monuments, and drove along the iconic U.S. Route 66. Ann said their goal is to visit all 50 states and MLB ballparks before their Walker heads off to college.

Cindy Jones

Cindy Jones enjoyed a memorable vacation at Grayton Beach, Florida with her sons, their wives, and grandchildren Benjamin (8), Parker (7), Christopher (6), Candler (3), and Murphy (5 months). They were joined by her brother, his family, and in-laws who stayed at another Grayton Beach house. The family dined at Shuck Gully’s, had a delightful meal with former Barnesville resident, Mary Maskell, at Cafe 30 A, and enjoyed a meal at the Red Bar.

Skip Seda

The Seda family digs up more bones than Randy Travis! Since Skip’s entry from last week (see here), Skip and Tripp were still making memories of a beast that’s dead and gone. Tripp found what remains of a tooth from the king of all dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus Rex. This adventure took place in Newcastle, Wyoming. Skip added that Tripp found parts of a triceratops’ skull, as well.
