Trojans to Play Rutland in Macon Friday
After a decisive 19-10 victory over the Jackson Red Devils last week, the Lamar County Trojans look to become 3-0 in this young football season. They will face the Rutland Hurricanes at Ed Defore Stadium in Macon on Friday at 7:30 PM.
Rutland is winless so far this season. The Hurricanes were shut out in week 1 against Bleckley County. This was followed by two losses to Jeff Davis and Howard. Rutland has struggled to defend the endzone, giving up an average of 35 points per contest. The next home game for the Trojans will take place next week against the Westside Seminoles.
Bibb County School District’s Ed Defore Stadium is located at 2851 Heath Rd, Macon, Georgia 31206, near the campus of Westside High School.
